The physical therapist at Results Physical Therapy specializes in treating those with chronic neurological conditions like Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA) or Stroke.

At Results we understand that every client can present very differently even if they have the same medical diagnosis. Our physical therapists will complete a thorough evaluation which would include a comprehensive medical and surgical history, review of medications and assessment of mobility deficits and determine the most effective treatment plan. Chronic neurological conditions that can be treated by a physical therapist can include:

• Parkinson’s Disease (including atypical forms like Multiple Systems Atrophy, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Lewy Body Dementia)
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Cerebrovascular Accidents (CVA or stroke)
• Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD)
• Functional Neurological/Movement Disorder (FND or FMD)
